How to measure your dog

Every Signature Harness is handmade to order and cut to your dog's own measurements — there are no fixed sizes to choose from. Measure snugly and do NOT add extra space: we add the allowance for you. If you prefer a looser fit, add that space yourself. The strap width scales with the harness, so it stays in proportion to your dog: 2 cm braiding with 1.6 cm BioThane on the smallest, 2.6 cm braiding with 1.6–2 cm BioThane through the middle range, and 3 cm braiding with 2–2.5 cm BioThane on the largest. We choose the right width from your measurements, so there is nothing extra for you to pick. On the smallest harnesses the central braided loop detail is left out to keep the proportions right on a smaller frame.

Made for real life. Mud, rain and daily walks included. Wipe BioThane pieces clean with a damp cloth. Machine-wash textiles at 30°C and air-dry. Wipe metal hardware dry after wet walks to keep its finish.

Width refers to the BioThane strap: heavier and stronger dogs need a wider strap. BioThane holds a breaking strength of 220–340 kg depending on width. Each width is finished with a proportionally sized clasp — lighter hardware on the narrower straps, sturdier on the wider ones — so the leash stays balanced and comfortable for your dog to wear. Length is adjustable on every width: wear it hands-free across your body at full 2.3 m, or shorten it to 1.8 m, 1.45 m or 1.25 m for city walks. Breed examples are a starting point only; if your dog is between sizes or pulls hard, size up. Every leash is handmade to order, so custom lengths and clasps are possible — just message us before ordering.

How do I get the right fit?
Every Signature Harness is made to measure — there are no fixed sizes, so it's cut to your dog rather than picked off a chart. We need three measurements: the base of the neck, the underbelly length and the chest girth. Tap How to measure on this page for the full guide with a diagram. Measure snugly and don't add any slack — we add the allowance for you; if you like a looser fit, add that space yourself. Send your measurements with your order, or message us first and we'll check them before we start. Because each harness is made to your dog, made-to-measure pieces can't be returned.
When will my order arrive?
Every PET & ME accessory is handmade to order — please allow 5–15 business days for your piece to be crafted before it ships. Robes, garments and pouches are ready-made and ship within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, Estonian parcel-terminal orders arrive within a few days and international standard shipping typically takes 7–10 days. You'll get a tracking link the moment your order ships — in a hurry? Contact us and we'll do our best.
How much does shipping cost?
Parcel-terminal delivery in Estonia is free (courier 8€), and orders over 150€ ship free worldwide. For everything else, the exact rate for your country is shown at checkout. Orders outside the EU may be subject to local customs fees.
What if it doesn't fit?
Because each harness is cut to the measurements you give us, made-to-measure pieces can't be returned — so please double-check your measurements, or send them to us first and we'll confirm them before we start. Ready-made, non-customised items in unworn, unused condition and their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund: email info@petandme.ee first and we'll send you return instructions, and once approved your refund reaches your original payment method within 10 business days. If the fit is off, message us anyway — we'll always do what we can to make it right.
Are the materials safe for my dog?
Yes — we use premium, pet-safe materials tested on real walks in real weather. BioThane® is a waterproof, odour-resistant alternative to leather that wipes clean and holds a breaking strength of 220–340 kg depending on width, paired with quick-drying marine-grade rope and solid welded hardware. Gentle on fur, built for years of walks.
Can I order a custom design?
Yes! Every piece is handmade to order, so we can adjust the colour, length, size and functionality — or create a fully custom design just for your dog.
